Painting: textile, pencil, paint, led light, tape
190x120

For this painting I was thinking about showing off, standing in the spotlight and finessing.

- Stretched Table cloths with a slight jacquard weave, pencil, white paint, led strip light, woven bike wheel reflector tape sticker

It's not a knot and it's also not a fucking bunch.

Painting: textile, paint, pencil.
160x165

For this painting I was thinking of Disney bows flying around, having to dress a certain way, and wanting to hold on to certain moments.

- unbleached cotton, transparent gesso, pencil, acrylic paint, and shapes of shadow in my studio at the time.
Knot not only decorative bow.

Ceramics, wood, paint, ribbon, paper.
6 times 6x14x9,5 and multiple 50x20x17

The ceramic piece of this sculpture is inspired (by the Wikipedia page about) tulip tower vases. On the page, there are a lot of mistranslations or mistakes, about the appropriation of the origin of these vases. I used self-made templates to build up these ceramic pieces, the pieces look like digital numbers from the top. Number 3 or 8.

- 6 stacked ceramic pieces, reused wooden sticks, painted paper, ribbon and electrical shrinking tubes.

A show called: Pienting is Cool. The show explores femininity, being called cute, looking 'presentable' and numbers.
